So Dubya went to Iraq, in a trip that had him in the air for 25 hours just to spend two and a half hours at his destination (a bit like travelling to London on First Great Western trains.) I was intrigued to read about the security arrangements for this jaunt, which must have been pretty impressive. Found a fascinating account by Mike Allen of the Washington Post on the Drudge Report. Allen was with Bush throughout the journey to Iraq. Apparently, on the way from his ranch to the airport and travelling in an unmarked car, Bush saw and encountered normal traffic - ie other vehicles on the road - for the first time in three years.

Spot the turkey.
