Britain's powerful influence on the US has been revealed in top secret transcripts from today's meeting between Tony Blair and George Bush.
Blair: Would you like a cup of tea, Mr President?
Bush: Nope.
Blair: It's very nice tea.
Bush: Get me a coffee.
Blair: Perhaps you'll have a coffee then?
Bush: Sure. I'll have a coffee.

Bush: Condi?
Rice: Nope.
