Another milestone in the British Government's forward-thinking transport policy was unveiled today. For the first time motorists were given the chance to pay not to have to use a motorway they've already paid to use.
Instead of joining the queues on the nightmarish M6 through Birmingham, they can now pay £2 to travel along an empty M6 which was built over boring trees and fields nearby.
This is brilliant. Now we can not only pay not to use hospitals and schools that we've already paid for, but roads as well.
Soon we will hopefully be able to pay not to be governed by the government we pay to govern us.

Road to nowhere: motorists rush to travel on the exciting new M6.
